The same rule applies to home equity loans and lines of credit. ![]() So, if you take out an auto loan and fail to make timely payments, the lender could repossess the vehicle. And if you’re buying a car or home, the loan you receive will also be secured by the asset you purchase. This means that you’ll have to put something valuable you own, like your vehicle or home, on the line to secure the loan. If the loan is secured, it is backed by collateral. Regardless of the type of online loan you are searching for, it will either be secured or unsecured. Some online lenders also offer same-day funding options. And if you’re approved and you accept the terms and conditions of your offer, you’ll receive funding in as little as one business day. In most instances, it only takes a few minutes to apply. Online lenders allow you to explore your options, and then apply and accept any loan offers that may be available to you at the tap of a fingertip. ![]() So you might consider that.Īs far as "one key is the legs need to lock in the closed position" - I have never seen or heard of a tripod that does this, if you mean that the legs snap into a position where far end of each leg are folded in against each other (or close), so they kind of meet in a point at the bottom. Is a really nice tripod that more than meets all your criteria, except for the leg-locks. For example, the Dolica TX570DS Ultra Compact Tripod: The reason is because twist locks are more compact (don't stick out) so most travel tripods are designed with those. You are severly limiting your choices by looking for flip-locks, especially with small travel-type tripods. ![]() The Sirui has a separate pan lock on the head, but that's a GOOD thing because you don't have to use it if you don't want to - just tighten it and forget that it's there you can still use the ballhead the same way you use a one-knob abomination. The folded length of that Slik tripod is 19.9 inches, hardly what I would consider compact. It folds smaller than the Slik, weighs a little less, and Sirui tripods are some of the best, IMHO. It meets most of your criteria except that it only goes to 55" tall. With the idea that you might like to get a better-quality tripod, you might consider the ET-1004 Aluminum Tripod: Would Carbon save me that much more weight? I'd like to stay around $100 or less. Price is reasonable and they get decent reviews too.ĭoes anyone know if the legs lock in the closed position?ĭoes anyone have any experience with Slik products? 2.3 lbs., extends to 64", flip lock legs, and supports enough weight. It's a 2" longer when folded than I'd like, but that's not a deal breaker. ![]() So far the Slik Sprint 150 Aluminum seems to fit these parameters. One key is the legs need to lock in the closed position so it can be used as a monopod. It doesn't need to support a whole lot of weight, but it does need to be light and fold up small. Ball head with preferably a single knob, it doesn't need to pan. Thinking about specs and details, it needs to be at least 57" high so I don't spend my day too crouched over. My plan is to buy a small, lightweight tripod and extend only one leg for most of the shots but having the option of the other legs when needed. Sometimes, though, I wish it was a tripod for the occasional shot. I like to use a monopod when shooting in low light, especially in museums because of the limited space, other people, and bulk of a tripod. I'm looking for a lightweight tripod to use as a monopod. ![]() Swimmers are advised to wear water shoes as there is a colony of sea urchins that live in the swimming area. The seller’s ’59 El Camino was retrieved from a field in western Montana. Thanks to El Caminos and Ranchero Forum for respective production data. Chevy would find greater success with the concept when it became a Chevelle counterpart in the mid-1960s. Chevy produced 36,409 El Camino’s in 1959-60, while Ford built slightly fewer at 35,223. But it wasn’t due to getting their clocks cleaned by Ford. During that time, Ford downsized the Ranchero off its new Falcon compact framework and Chevy put its truck on hiatus until 1964. This first run of the El Camino lasted just two years. When they decided to pull the trigger against the Ranchero, Chevy built the El Camino off an adjusted Brookwood-series station wagon platform. It was not the first time that General Motors would tinker with the concept, the first coming in 1955 with the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier/Suburban Carrier. Since the El Camino is not truly a pickup or a wagon, perhaps it can be thought of as a utility coupe. ![]() Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this pickup is available here on eBay where the no reserve auction sits at $4,100. The seller confesses that this ’59 El Camino is rustier than he thought when he bought it, so he’s going to leave it to someone else to make a future for it. The first generation of the El Camino only ran from 1959-60, so this truck is from the beginning of Chevy’s journey. Sales of the Ranchero were strong enough for Chevrolet to follow suit two years later and would go head-to-head against Ford with its El Camino. In 1957, Ford introduced a new kind of pickup, one that was a modification to their 2-door station wagon to incorporate a truck bed in the back half. |
